Never Created Marketing Content Before?
Here’s What You Need to Know
When you read about content marketing, most examples and best practices point towards big brands, like HubSpot, Hootsuite, or Rolex. And, that’s when you say, “I can’t do this!” Who can blame you for that?
You’re a small business owner, just starting a company. You have no time and few resources to put into content creation. Here’s the thing. None of these means you can’t produce valuable content.
Small companies and new entrepreneurs can do content marketing on a budget. You won’t have the traffic that HubSpot has, and your visuals won’t be even close to Rolex Instagram. But they don’t even have to. What would you do with all that traffic, anyway? You’re just starting. You don't have the infrastructure to handle all those clients.
Align your content strategy with your business needs. As your company grows, you’ll have plenty of time to refine the initial plan, expand it, and rock the world.
Don’t “over”
The rule is simple. Say NO to overthinking, overdoing, and overpromising.
Overthinking is almost the norm when producing content, especially if you don’t write for a living.
