The 3 Cs for Growing An Audience
Learn to connect with your ideal clients when you have zero followers
When you start a new business, the biggest struggle is building an audience. Everyone talks about how to increase your reach and connect with hundreds or thousands of potential clients monthly, but almost no one bothers to tell you about the first steps.
That’s because growing an audience from zero to 100 is everything but sexy and appealing.
Why would anyone care about reaching 100, anyway? Let me tell you why: because you can’t build an empire without your first community members. And you can’t grow a business without your first buyers.
It’s challenging, frustrating, and time-consuming. But it’s also an opportunity to connect with great people and celebrate the small wins.
I started a Facebook group with one member: myself. I have no people to invite, no existing or past clients to rely on. But I have a lovely support group to cheer me up when I feel like quitting. I celebrated the first person who asked to join. And the second, and the third, and so on. After two months, I had 25 members in my group, and I still celebrated every new arrival.
